Trinity Reformed Baptist Church (“TRBC”, “we”) runs this website. This page explains what information the website collects, why, and who can see it. If you have a question, or want us to correct or remove your information, contact the church office (see Contact us below).
Visiting the website
- The website has no advertising and no tracking or analytics cookies, and we don’t sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
- The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
- A few settings, such as light or dark mode and your choices on the Confession pages, are remembered in your own browser. They’re never sent to us.
Maps and sermons from other services
Some pages show content from other services: Google Maps (directions to the church) and SermonAudio (the live stream and sermon player). When you view those pages, your browser loads that content directly from those services, which handle it under their own privacy policies.
Forms you send us
When you send a message or a membership form on this website, what you type (such as your name, email address and message) is sent to the church through Google Forms and kept in the church’s Google account. We use it only to respond to you and for the church’s own records.
The member directory and member resources
The member directory and member resources are only for church members, and only signed-in members who are on the church’s member list can see them.
- Signing in. Members sign in with Google, with a link sent by email, or with a password, using Google’s Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address; we use your email address only to check that you’re on the member list. We never see your Google password.
- What the directory holds. For each person: name, phone numbers, email address, home and mailing address, birthday (month and day only), photo, and church role. This comes from the church’s records. Members can see each other’s entries and save them to their own contacts.
- Who can change it. Only the church’s directory administrators can add, change or remove entries and member resources.
- Where it’s stored. Directory information, member photos and member resource files are stored with Google Firebase in the United States.
If you’d like your entry changed, or would like not to be listed in the directory, contact the church office.
Children
The website isn’t directed at children, and children are never asked to sign in.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
